EFG5K is designed to meet or exceed all requirements of ISO 3862 R13 specifications and performance requirements of EN 856 4SP (-10 to -32) and EN 856 4SH (-20 to -32). Compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like polyolester, polyglycol and vegetable oil, as well as standard petroleum-based fluids. The optional MegaTuff™ cover lasts up to 300 times longer than standard hose during hose-to-hose and hose-to-metal abrasion tests per ISO 6945 and offers superior ozone and weathering resistance. The optional XtraTuff™ cover lasts up to 25 times longer than standard hose. Available in 121' through 200' continuous lengths. For use with GlobalSpiral™ Couplings [G20 Series], GlobalSpiral Max [G23 and G24 Series] and Stainless Steel Spiral Couplings [G18 Series]. Superior flex impulse performance: Tested to 1,000,000 impulse cycles at 50% of EN 856 R13 and SAE 100R13 bend radii (except -32). Meets Flame Resistance Acceptance Designation MSHA 2G.\n\nFeatures and Benefits With the Gates special XtraTuff™ cover which offers 25 times the abrasion resistance of the standard EFG5K cover as per ISO 6945. Meets or exceeds performance requirements of EN 856 4SP (-10 to -32) and EN 856 4SH (-20 to -32). -6 to -20 validated with GlobalSpiral™ ; -24, -32 with GlobalSpiral™ Maximum.
